Piano Magic and Fantasy
Gonzalo Aguilar started his musical studies at Conservatorio Nacional de Musica in Lima and was immediately selected from many candidates to perform as a soloist with the National Symphonic Orchestra of Peru. Since then he has played as soloist and chamber musician in many auditoriums and venues in Lima. He received Masterclasses by Russian pianist Alexander Paley, and in 2013 he was selected for a Masterclass by Chinese pianist Lang Lang, who, delighted by his performance, said that Gonzalo “plays with a lot of magic and fantasy”. In 2015 Gonzalo finished his Conservatory studies with the highest grades and for his excellent results was awarded "Premio Conservatorio Nacional de Música". In 2016, he was accepted to Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ, USA, where he pursues his studies for a Master degree of Music in Piano Pedagogy and Performance under Ingrid Clarfield;
He will delight us playing Dvořák, Schubert, Ravel and a Marinera of Peruvian composer R.M. Ayarza de Morales.
